The Gift Given

I've always appreciated the gifting stage of this - it traces the echoes of people, the imprints they leave on us. My heavy glasses leave indents on the bridge of my nose, like my grandmother's did, and I've always thought of this like a gift from her shelf, reminding me of her.Please be aware that, whilst focused on commemoration and remembrance, this is a ritual performed after a person's death.
