Jake Falconer is a hard-living, alcoholic private detective. When an homme fatale comes to him with the case of a missing twin, he is intrigued - and also, in desperate need of cash. It doesn't take long before the case turns deadly, and Jake has to rely on his questionable wits, and a little help from his squeaky clean ex, Kyle. Because if he doesn't figure this mystery out soon, he's bound to pay for it with his life. Content warning - A loving, if troubled, salute to noir.
