Blackbird Squadron

Blackbird Squadron is stationed aboard the extraordinarily large space cruiser Laviross, to protect a fleet of colony ships and the civilian population in their journey to find a new suitable home for them. However — just as the concert of famous singer Shannon Teller is about to kick off, the fleet is attacked by aliens! Admiral Jax Milennius orders the mecha squadrons to intercept, and Blackbird Squadron launches into space. Even now the mecha pilots engage the unknown forces, supported by commander Loren Toda on the bridge of the Laviross. It's only a matter of time before the attackers breach the hull of the Laviross and endanger their loved ones on the civilian city-ships. How will the mecha forces repel the alien onslaught? What prompted this sudden attack? What is the aliens' objective? Will the pilots be able to keep the Laviross and their loved ones safe? Will the Laviross find a permanent home among the stars? What sacrifices will they have to make to make that happen? Using the Lady Blackbird system by John Harper, and inspired by a beloved 40-year old mecha anime franchise, this tabletop roleplaying game lets players slip into the cockpits of their transformable mecha and dive right into the action - both in space and on board of the colony ship Laviross!
