The Tatterdemalion Temple

Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to play this game! This is a ~5 maybe ~10 minute game that takes place in one dungeon level. The story is that you're entering a jungle temple that has become a bit overrun with bad guys. In keeping with the duality theme of the 2023 DC Jam, everything you interact with will give you two options. There is a 'physical' attack/defense and a 'magic' attack/defense. If you choose to attack with 'sword' you'll get one random damage amount out of your sword array and you will defend with a random amount against the monster's attack with your shield array. (Viewable in the pause/escape menu). Likewise, you can attack / defend with your magic arrays, at the cost of magic. There's also the option to talk to the monsters and either bribe (which costs gold) or charm (which costs charisma). There are also two endings depending on your reason for entering TTT. I’m planning on updating this throughout 2023, eventually reaching version 1.0 2024 Update: I've gotten this to version 0.2, hey its not easy going back to work on stuff!
