Gorygyx Rush (for Boss Rush Jam '24)

Simple horizontal boss rush shooter loosely based on one of my first attempts at the genre many years back. Fight 4 bosses, collect medals and loop as long as you can!Uses various fx graphics, sounds, scripts and fonts from my past projects. Music by JGVexUpdate 2/2 - added more loop logic tweaks, medals properly level down on player death, starting loop number now has to be earned by reaching them, minor hitbox changes Update 2/3 - added Extra menu (unlockables), added new enemy type and bg elements, more loop tweaks. New attack for skully boss. Reaching a new loop now gives an extra life.*POST JAM* Update 2/20 - Added Easy start (Loop -1) in Options. Numerous loop logic tweaks. Added game over tune and loop awards
