Fintail Gladiator Prototype 2024

This is Fintail Gladiator, a game that features fish fighting with tail blades. Up to 4 players can play together cooperatively or competitively with opponents thrown into the mix. Practice waves or go for a score run with customizable game settings. This game is uploaded as is: a game concept that focused on the core loop without consideration for markets, with basic user interface to allow seamless game navigation. Controls for players: Game development process This showcases my abilities to create a game project alone, which lasted from fall 2019 to late winter 2024, at a very part time commitment. I am most proud of implementing local multiplayer support along with having AI enemy entities that can target multiple players with finite state machine behavior through A star Pathfinding library. Also happy with the wave select menu, that features information such as stars earned from survival, the list of enemy units as icons, and a map preview that features moving parts, which allow players to know what to expect when mastering waves.
