Tanga

The goal of the game is to stack as many blocks as possible on top of each other before the "tower" collapses. You can control everything with the mouse, or alternatively, you can drop the blocks using the space bar. The theme of the jam was Build to Scale, and my interpretation is the construction of a tower using blocks of different sizes. To keep track of everything, there is a so called "offcam" that shows the blocks that are offscreen. You can move the cam with the mouse wheel. The main references were Tetris, Jenga, and Stack. You rock! I made the game in less than 96 hours; I don't even think it was 20 hours. I spent most of the time procrastinating and sleeping, and only realized on Saturday that the jam was already underway. Otherwise, it could have turned out better. Fun fact: Tanga is German and means thong: I Originally wanted to name the game Jetris or Tenga... creative, I know. Then I asked Azes what he thought, and he suggested replacing the e with an a, so I was like fuck it, I'll go with Tanga.
