By fooling around with how the ray marches or how these shapes are defined, you can create very interesting, artistic visuals. The main structure in this video is a fractal called the Menger sponge. I learned how to implement this in ray marching from ShroomLab and borrowed other definitions of primitive shapes from Inigo Quilez.
