Pesky Critters Defend your farm from a swarm of critters in Pesky Critters! Grow crops, protect them from birds, hedgehogs and mice by sending them flying with your trusty boot. Balance farming and defense in order to reach the high score. How long can you keep your harvest safe? Made during LD56 and UTGJ24 Tutorial The goal of the game is to farm for as long as possible! Movement is with WASD, and you interact with SPACE. To earn both more money and time, you must buy crops from the shop at the top, but you can only carry one crop at a time! While your crops are growing, Pesky Critters will come and try to destroy them. If you see them nibbling at your crops, simply INTERACT with the crop to KICK them away! If they manage to nibble on it, you lose TIME, and lose your crop! But don't let your crops grow for too long, a CLOCK symbol will show up once the crop is ready, and will go redder the closer the crop is to rotting! Make sure to Interact with the crop before it rots to pick it up! To sell your crops you must go to the SELL tile at the van in the bottom and INTERACT with it. Its better to sell sooner than later, as each coin you earn gives you a certain percentage of your remaining time back, to farm even more crops! Some crops grow faster, some slower, some earn you more money, and some less, but once a Pesky Critter takes a bite out of it, its worthless anyway!
