Before you came to be, a deadly virus that was given the name "Falaxyn" decimated populations. Eventually though, Icarus Industries produced a one time use vaccine for the virus that lasted exactly one year that only the wealthy could afford. Icarus made trillions while keeping the population in check. However, a rival company by the name of NeoCorp created a permanent vaccine far more affordable than the alternative. Icarus lost all of it's sales and was seemingly forgotten. Recently, NeoCorp dissapeared, along with its vaccine. With the competition gone, Icarus was able to create a human patient infected with a clone of Falaxyn. That clone is you.
