English Version 1.0 Description This plugin allows you to create a save folder next to the .exe file when your game is exported as a portable version. Why Use This Plugin? When using tools like Enigma Virtual Box to compile your RPG Maker game into a single executable file, the default save system may not work properly. This plugin solves that issue by ensuring that save files are stored externally, next to the .exe file. This makes it easy for players to locate and manage their saves while maintaining full compatibility with the game's loading system. Main Features Portable Saves : Creates a save folder next to the .exe file when exporting your game as a portable version. Simple Configuration : No advanced setup required. The plugin automatically creates the save folder the first time the game is launched. Compatibility : Compatible with RPG Maker MV and MZ. Enigma Virtual Box Support : Ensures that games compiled with Enigma Virtual Box can save and load data correctly. WARNING!!! This plugin is designed for RPG Maker MV version 1.6.1 and RPG Maker MZ version 1.1.1. Although it may work with earlier versions, I have not thoroughly tested it, and I cannot guarantee compatibility. A demo is available for all my plugins. Download it and test its functionality before using it in your project. For optimal performance, it is recommended to update at least to version 1.6.1 for MV and 1.1.1 for MZ. You can download the latest updates from the official RPG Maker website. How It Works Installation : Add the plugin to your RPG Maker MV/MZ project. Compilation : Compile your game using Enigma Virtual Box or any other method to create a portable .exe. Saving : When players save their progress, the save files will be stored in an external folder next to the .exe. Loading : Saved games will load normally when players resume their progress.
