After a huge asteroid hits Earth, ash and dust darken the sky for decades. A global ice age begins. Few survived the impact and the chaos that followed. But without the light and warmth of the sun, that's just the beginning of the real fight for survival… Devolution - Eternal Winter is a real-time strategy game that requires fast tactical decisions and a good long term strategy. The game can be played with up to four players, all playing at the same time. Up to two players can be human. A selection of 8 unique maps and numerous settings allow you to set up your individual challenge. The game was written for the Commodore C64 and can be played either on real hardware or in an emulator like Vice. Although developed for PAL machines, the game is also NTSC compatible, but the experience on NTSC may slightly differ.
