From the ABOUT Page: The Factory Reset Jam ran in 2024 from April 28th through May 12th and again from November 3rd to the 17th. The task was a simple one: to design a game that uses only the pre-installed apps on your phone. No game engines, no new downloads from the app store. These were to be folk games, for your phone. Our culture tends toward an endless cycle of productivity and consumption, of which our smartphones are direct artifacts. Let’s change our relationship with technology - our phones, our spreadsheets, our email inboxes - and invite them to play along with us instead.
