G-ZERO

This is G-zero, a WIP racing game with mode 7 style rotation background inspired on F-zero, for the Sega Genesis/Megadrive. Download the file and use with an emulator of your choice. The game works on real hardware, so if you have a SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive and an Everdrive, you can copy the file to the SD card and play the demo.--- Updated December 25 2025 --- g-zero_main_newbeta4: -All hud elements now works, exept life count. -Added lap count. -Now you can finish the race, it shows final rank, lap time and total time. -Each vehicle now has is own color, and shows their position in the map, also now they have shadow.-Changed a litle bit collision with cars, now is less unfair (maybe is too easy now?). -Changed how turbo works, now becomes available when you completes the first lap, also added a bar indicator to see the duration of the turbo, and now uses the energy (power) each time you activate it. -Some minor gfx and color background changes.Older versions: g-zero_main_newbeta3b: In the .7z file there are 2 Rom files: g-zero_main_newbeta3b_15cars.bin g-zero_main_newbeta3b_5cars.bin The first one is just a test to see how behave the game with many cars (in this case up to 15). The other file is the "normal game" where it will be with up to 5 rival cars.
