The Assignment

“The Assignment” is a slow-burn, identity-shifting visual novel set in Halden City, where you play as a seemingly ordinary university student. A strange psychology homework assignment begins to unravel your sense of self, drawing you into a spiral of transformation, submission, and self-discovery. With multiple paths, diverse characters, and dynamic systems, your journey will be shaped by who you trust and who you become. The game has for now, about two weeks worth of content. The first week is about getting to know the charactes and the game's mechanics, while the second weeks builds to the assignment, the main plot point of the game.
