Black Myth: Wuziqi

Black Myth Wuziqi is a modern twist on an abstract strategy board game called Wuziqi, (or Gomoku). In this variant, there is only one shared pool of powerups, which can only be used once per round. At the beginning of each round, players are shown a shared hand of powerups that can only be used once during the round. This is similar to the poker game “Texas Hold 'Em”, where there are community cards that can be used to create your hand. However in Black Myth Wuziqi , once these powerups are used, they are gone for the round. During a round, players alternate turns either placing a stone of their color on an empty intersection, or playing one of the community powerups. The winner is the first player to form an unbroken line of five stones of their color horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. This line must be exactly five stones long; six or more stones in a row does not count as a win and is called an overline.
