Net Yaroze - DOWN Remake

About You and your friend must continue to go Down! But not too down, make you you always find a new platform to step into, and watch the top spikes, they are deadly! Inspiration When I was a kid, my dad used to purchase these PlayStation magazines that came bundled with a demo disc. Within these discs were dozens of demos for released PS1 games, but they also featured some Net Yaroze games. Net Yaroze was a Sony program to promote the development of indie games by providing developers with a PS1 dev kit and publishing the developed games on these demo discs. Most times, my favorite games from these demo discs were the Net Yaroze games, because they clearly didn't have big budget, so they kind of had nothing to lose, and that translated into really interesting (and bold) ideas. This game was inspired by a Net Yaroze game called 'Down', developed by Team Parc. This was a simple yet addicting game that me and my sister loved to play and beat the highscore. I thought remaking this game would be a nice challenge to put into practice my Unity knowledge, while getting back at playing a game we loved as kids, which was awesome.
