Metavasi, produced by God Games The name of our game, metavasi stands for transition in Greek. The given theme of our game was “Ageism in LGBT+ communities and how it impacts youth”. In the game, you play as Apollo, Greek God of the sun, who we chose to represent an older Hispanic trans man. Heracles, one of your students, has come out to you as trans. You have the options to try and give helpful advice or decide you’re not qualified to help them This is to show how younger generations often are given less access to knowledge because of their age and being considered “too young”, while also showing how older generations may be hesitant to share their experiences because how much times have changed.
