FailTales: Bad Wolves
Pitch Fail Tales: Bad Wolves is the first game of a potential collection of reinterpretations of traditional fairy tales. It features a nostalgic style, tower defense, resource management, and trap building. Gameplay In this prototype, the player pushes the limits of their creativity to set up traps and prevent the wolf from reaching Cicero’s straw house. With the classic old cartoon humor, have fun with the animations and the different ways you can interact with the wolf and the environment. The map isn’t a limitation, it’s your biggest weapon. How to play? When starting a chapter of the book, you will be immersed in a themed tale. In the current prototype, we have the first chapter, which tells the story of Cicero and his misadventures trying to stop the Big Bad Wolf from knocking down his house. Arrow keys – Move Right mouse button – Place traps in the indicated space Q – Start the chaos Disclaimer: we acknowledge that in this prototype not all mechanics are as satisfying as expected. However, the project will continue receiving updates and we would love to hear your suggestions and feedback. Roadmap we plan to: Improve and expand the current gameplay mechanics. Implement more responsive animations. Refine the art and overall aesthetic perception of the game. Improve and add new soundtracks and sound effects to make the gameplay more dynamic and immersive. Add more wolf-related stories to our Fail Tales. General technical polish to make the project as playable as possible. As stated at the beginning, FAIL TALES is a potential franchise — Bad Wolves is just the first of these tales. We hope to bring to life not only Bad Wolves, but also other fairy tales titles.
