INTRODUCTION Grave Rogue 2 is a simple, easy-to-learn roguelike for the Game Boy and Game Boy Color. Each progressively more difficult level is selected from a few layouts with randomly placed enemies and items. This game is perfect for quick gaming sessions and has a just-one-more-try vibe. DIFFICULTY Grave Rogue 2 is intentionally challenging and relies on skill and luck. Expect to die several times along the way and have to complete lots of run-throughs to complete the game. Please comment below for what level you reached! GAME MECHANICS The game is a dilemma of attacking, searching, healing, and upgrading weapon. The maps are designed that you won't always be able to get to things in the order you want to. Planning ahead is crucial. As is a certain amount of luck! Every action matters. SEARCHING Finding items can dramatically affect your progression. Use button B to search. You will always find the most useful item first and will not find other items in the same location until you use it. Searching again may find additional item(s). CONTROLS Standard RPG rules apply. Direction buttons move you around and use button A to interact. Use the SELECT button to mute music. Pressing button B when will search the area for helpful items. COMPATIBILITY The game is for the Game Boy Original and should be playable on any Game Boy or emulator that can play .gb files. A .pocket file is available for the Analogue Pocket On some handhelds you can copy the zip itself. This will ensure the .gb file doesn't get corrupt.
