It replaces static math and repetitive dice rolls with a high-tension, simultaneous-reveal card system using a standard 54-card poker deck. WHY A DECK OF CARDS?In this system, your hand of cards represents your Stamina. As you take hits, your hand size shrinks. You don’t just "lose HP"—you lose options. You must decide when to spend your high cards for a killing blow and when to play defensively to catch your breath. SYSTEM FEATURESTactical Stances: Every suit represents a style of combat. Use Spades to parry and keep your momentum, or Clubs to shatter armor with pure brute force. Armor That Actually Protects: Armor isn't a "to-hit" modifier; it is damage reduction. If you're wearing Full Plate, lower strikes will simply clatter off your harness. Weapon Masteries: Face cards (J, Q, K) unlock unique techniques based on your weapon type. Perform a Shield Bash with a longsword or a Vital Point strike with a dagger. Simultaneous Resolution: No more waiting for your turn.
