SKIRMISH CHESS ROGUELITE
SKIRMISH CHESS: ROGUELITE is a solo, pocket-sized strategy game that fuses the spatial logic of chess with the volatile tension of blackjack. Played on a tight 6×6 board using standard chess movement and a single deck of cards, each run becomes a brutal skirmish where positioning, risk, and luck collide. You are not playing a full match of chess — you are fighting through fragments of one. Each turn, you maneuver a single piece across the board while enemy pieces relentlessly close in. When pieces clash, combat is resolved through blackjack-style duels: draw, hit, stand, or bust. Win and you promote, gaining stronger movement and new advantages — but every promotion also brings new enemies onto the board. Lose, and you are driven back, weakened, and closer to collapse. The board tightens. The pressure escalates. Nothing stays safe for long. Every run is shaped by a powerful mutation rolled at the start of play, bending rules, probabilities, and movement in strange ways. From card manipulation and tactical swaps to high-risk gambits and rule-breaking magic, mutations ensure no two sessions play the same. The deck is reshuffled after every duel, keeping outcomes chaotic and preventing safe optimization — this is a roguelite, not a puzzle to solve once. SKIRMISH CHESS: ROGUELITE is fast to learn, quick to reset, and endlessly replayable. It fits in your hand, uses minimal components, and tells a different story every time you sit down to play. Victory is possible — but never guaranteed. Every run ends either in triumph… or in pieces left scattered across the board.
