The first day of the machine’s hunger, the rain stopped. Cicadidae is a sci-fi psychological horror about you. You've always lived in this town, always known the machine that sits in the middle of the lake that the town surrounds like mushrooms around a rotting stump. You don't think that stopping the yearly sacrifices is a good idea. Cicadidae is a little over 4500 words and contains mention of heavy topics and gore.
