Dragster is a free tool to record internal audio from your PC or Mac and drag & drop it anywhere: Your DAW, Sampler, Sample Manager, Video Editing Software, Filesystem, Desktop, WhatsApp chat with your grandma, your ex's DMs at 3am, a PowerPoint presentation for your science class, your therapist's inbox, a ransom note, the girl you matched on Tinder in summer 2024... I'm saying, it's been 2 years, she's not gonna write you first, just sample that IG reel of a monkey playing the harmonica... it might spark a conversation... It also keeps your last five recordings in the drawer that appears clicking on the app logo or in the icon on your tray. New in v2.0.0: - Trim and loop your recordings right inside Dragster. - App Exclusions: exclude specific apps from capture to prevent audio doubling. You can go to the settings.json file and add any app you want to bypass. com.finetuneapp.FineTune is excluded by default. NOTE: I don't own an Intel Mac. OTHER OTHER NOTE: Since Dragster only saves your last 5 recordings, make sure you're setting the option in your DAW to actually save copies of your file. Some sampling Plug-Ins work with copies of your files, not saving them. So to make sure you're never losing work you should first drag your audio to your filesystem, creating a file, and then into the actual Plug-In.
