Recent work has added and improved: Merchant Gear Upgrades — the main progression path now lets you spend copper at the Lowfire Market to permanently improve equipped weapons and armor. Clearer gear progression — upgraded gear now shows readable tier states like +1 / +3, current bonuses, next costs, and maxed-out status. Gear detail modal — inspect gear more comfortably without cluttering the main screen. Better loot comparison — gear readouts now make upgraded equipped items easier to understand when comparing new drops. Cleaner Guild Journal — the Journal now focuses more on real player history and less on unfinished preview clutter. Revisit and Archive cleanup — memory-style systems are being handled more carefully so unfinished lanes do not pretend to be playable. Town and Gear UI polish — merchant upgrades, gear summaries, and item ownership are easier to read. Mobile readability improvements — cleaner spacing, clearer labels, and better browser play. Stability and save-flow improvements — safer persistence for gear upgrades, cleaner reload behavior, and stronger protection against broken progression states. Itch package cleanup — browser builds are being prepared with cleaner version labels, cache handling, and launch structure. Current development is focused on: Smoother combat feel Better gear progression Stronger merchant upgrade clarity Cleaner mobile layout More readable Journal and Archive records Safer save/load behavior More satisfying long-term dungeon progression More playable content without breaking the core balance
