Cardboard King
Cardboard King The King is dead. Long live the... Cardboard? The King has kicked the bucket at the worst possible time, and the kingdom is on the brink of chaos. As the lowly Court Jester, you aren't ready for a career change (or the executioner's block)—so you’re doing the only logical thing: fooling the entire court into thinking His Majesty is just fine. Cardboard King is a frantic point-and-click time-management game where you must "pilot" a life-sized cardboard cutout of the late ruler. From the high throne, you'll have to navigate royal audiences, pesky animals, and the literal laws of physics to keep the ruse alive. Can you keep the illusion? 🎭 Emote on Cue: Swap between happy and sad expressions to react to the villagers' stories. Don't laugh at a tragedy or cry at a celebration! 👁️ Don't Forget to Blink: Humans blink. Cardboard doesn't. You have to bridge the gap—but blink too much and they’ll think the King has a nervous twitch. 🌬️ Fight the Elements: A sudden gust of wind is a cardboard king's worst enemy. Keep him upright before he tips over and reveals the hollow truth. 🥩 Distract the Hounds: Local dogs can smell the truth (and the meat in your pockets). Keep them distracted before they tear the "King" to shreds. Keep that Suspicion Bar low until the clock runs out. If the kingdom finds out, it’s off with your head! Controls (The Jester’s Guide) [Mouse Click / Drag]: Blink, change the king's facial expression from happy to sad, and toss meat to the hounds. [Spacebar]: Reposition the cardboard king, fighting the wind.[Escape]: Pause the ruse (and catch your breath). Credits Bringing a cardboard monarch to life is no easy feat.
