My new project, Following on from what I learned letting Astro Warrior from the SMS to the Spectrum Next I thought I'd try my luck with Sonic. Port of Sonic from the SMS to the Spectrum Next Controls - Kempston Joystick in Port 1 (left port) or Keyboard Q,A,O,P,M On title screen Press O for Options In Game Left/Right - Move Left / Right Up - Look Up Down - Crouch / Look Down Fire - Jump Down while running - Spin Attack / Roll H - Hold (Pause) Version HistoryV1.0 Added - Option menu Added - Keyboard Controls Changed - small optimisation to Layer 2 writes Beta 2 Fixed - Game over sequence Fixed - Full ending with all Chaos Emeralds Fixed - Sprite/Background priority Changed - Palettes from on-the-fly to pre-converted - This helps speed up palette transitions, particularly within the Labyrinth Beta 1 Initial release for beta testing
