Dust & Harvest Multiplayer
MULTIPLAYER NOW AVAILABLE! Dust & Harvest Farm. Fight. Survive. You came out here with a hoe and a debt. That's it. No one's coming to help. The bank wants $500 by the end of the week. $700 the week after. It goes up $200 every single week for 24 weeks. Your job is to be worth something before the math catches up to you. What you actually do Plant carrots on day one. By week four you're timing moonshroom harvests around dust storms, managing a chicken coop, hauling copper ore out of a four-floor mine, and checking whether the market tanked while you were underground. The game doesn't hold your hand — it just shows you the prices and lets you figure it out. The farm 19 crops, four seasons, and a market that shifts every dawn. Melons sell high in summer. Glowroot goes crazy during a trade caravan. Dustwheat barely moves until a drought makes food prices spike and suddenly you can't harvest fast enough. Till your fields, water your crops, time your sells. If you fall behind, hire Jed — he'll water, harvest, and replant every morning while you handle the rest. The mine Four floors of tunnels under your property. Coal and copper near the surface, iron and gold deeper down, crystals if you push far enough. Floor 4 — the Unmapped — has no hub, no landmarks, and something down there that the survey crew found before you. Bring torches. Watch for cave-ins. The ranch Chickens, sheep, goats, cows, pigs, rabbits, horses. Keep the trough full, collect what they leave, craft it into cheese and blankets and tonics worth double at market. Guard them at night. Wolves don't respect fences. The ocean East of the frontier, past the portal, is a dock and a woman named Maren who doesn't ask where you've been. Buy a rowboat and fish the shallows. Save for a schooner and reach the deep water. Upgrade to an armed barque if the pirates start to bother you. Cook your catch into stew or sell it raw — either way it pays. The Hobo Camp North of town, five people who lost something. A railroad worker. A city clerk with a legal case. A farmer who had his deed voided on a technicality. A doctor who left her practice. A kid heading east. Talk to them long enough and the story of what happened to this frontier starts to come together. It connects to your mine. It connects to your land. The fight Bandits on the road. Wolves at night. Burrowers erupt out of the sand. Scorpions, snakes, coyotes, raiders. The Badlands west of the farm has its own heat system — the longer you stay and the more you kill, the harder what shows up gets. Random encounters on the road bring merchant caravans, abandoned camps, hidden springs, dust storms, and relic sites. None of it is safe. All of it is optional except the stuff that finds you. The debt arc $500. $700. $900. It keeps climbing. Pay off all 24 weeks and your name goes on the deed — a proper ending, a quiet screen, and the land you worked for. Miss too many and the bank takes it back. The land doesn't care about you. That's why you came.
