TRIGGERS(WITH SPOILERS) - Click with cautionBitter End deals with a fictional murder that occurred in the town. Often the story is bastardized and isn't taken with the seriousness of the situation. The antagonist (while only touched on in the demo) goes through both heavy religious and familial abuse. These will be much more prevalent in the final product. The antagonist also has very predatory behavior, and by definition is a groomer. The demo only has hints, but the final product might become more apparent. NO sexual abuse/ CSA will be displayed in this game AT ALL. Though emotional manipulation, mind breaking, self harm, and total loss of self will be a core to this game. Always put your own mental health first~ - What is Bitter End? Bitter End is a perspective shifting Psychological horror puzzle game. With a mix of visual novel elements, puzzle mechanics, and the use of 2D, 3D, and First Person, Bitter End delves into the curse of ‘The Devil's Bride’ and the real murder that occurred in the town of Lycrois. Tragedy, generational stalking, and obsession- All from one woman's Bitter End - What's the plot? Have you heard the story of “The Devil’s Bride”? Each year, disappearances plague the small town of Lycoris. Our lead is Yumi, a high school girl whose best friend Himiko convinces her to participate in a prank her occult club is pulling on one of the newer members. This prank goes wrong when Himiko seems to go missing, everyone splits up only to end up in a world like no other. The Bride's world. (Set in 2010’s era, a few weeks or so after summer break) - Characters A by the books, studious girl who’s our lead. Best friends with Himiko, Yumi juggles dealing with her and keeping her grades up. She puts logic first before anything else. Yumi’s childhood friend and the leader of the occult club. A zany, sometimes airheaded girl, Himiko is one of the few people that try to get Yumi to socialize more. She loves pranking people- you can never go too far for a prank. The (technical) vice president of the occult club! Rinko isn’t a bully, but she loves to mess with people. She’s taken Belle under her wing to try and ‘scare her straight’, there’s no better way to get someone to talk like scary stories! A timid girl, she moved to Lycoris during the summer and is a new transfer student. She came barely able to speak a word to anyone let alone look them in the eye, but with Rinko’s help, she’s been able to hold an actual conversation! Belle wants to be less scared, so putting herself in the occult club seemed like the right option! (to Rinko at least.) The student body president and principal's daughter. She juggles everything from greeting students, cleaning and staying behind after school, to other activities her mother signed her up for. The occult club is the only place where she has a break. The teacher that oversees the club. A favorite amongst students, Mrs.Kura is often pretty laidback and friendly. She’s never dabbled in occult activities, but Himiko’s persistence to start one after the debate club disbanded made her cave. - Credits and more!
