Spirit Guardians

🎲 SPIRIT GUARDIANS A fast-paced dice-combat roguelite. Build magical dice. Throw. Purify corrupted Spirits. Engine: Godot 4.7 | Status: Early Access Demo | Platform: Windows (D3D12) 🎮 Theme & Core Loop You play a Warden tasked with purifying corrupted Guardian Spirits by building and throwing magical dice. Combine a Guardian Spirit (the die's feel: weight, bounce, roll bias) with Runes (effects engraved onto individual faces). Throw your die at waves of corrupted enemies—when it settles, a weighted roll picks a face, and that rune fires. Between waves, visit the Shop to buy runes and consumables, then the Forge to engrave faces and browse upgrade trees. Beat the region boss to restore the land. Features: 10 Regions to purify, each with a Guardian boss 10 Guardian Spirits to unlock (each changes how your die behaves) 10 Runes with branching upgrade trees (damage, speed, special effects) Multi-dice combat: hold one, others trail behind and promote when needed Data-driven difficulty scaling (no artificial spikes) ⌨️ Controls WASD / Arrows — Move your Warden Left Click — Throw the die toward your cursor Right Click (Hold) — Recall the die back to your hand SPACE — Toggle auto-aim (snaps cursor to nearest enemy) ESC — Pause (Resume or Quit to Menu) G — +50 Spirit Crystals (debug/testing only) 🛠️ Current Build This is an early playable slice: core combat, enemy scaling, multi-dice system, Shop + Forge with upgrade trees, and character/spirit selection are all in. Most rune effects are placeholders; Fire and Frost are fully implemented. Economy numbers are preliminary and will be tuned based on feedback. No sfx yet. 📢 All Feedback Welcome This is an early build. What feels good? What's confusing? Too easy? Too grindy? Does the dice throw/recall feel satisfying? Share your thoughts!
