Vale of Embers 🌋🌱 A cozy farming & settlement sim about starting over — and building something together. You arrived by ship with everything you could carry and a handful of strangers who'd become your neighbors. The Vale is new ground: volcanic ash weathered into rich, dark soil at the foot of a mountain that's only dreaming. No one has farmed this valley before. The first hands on it are yours. There's no combat here, no failure, no clock you can lose to — just seasons turning, a settlement rising from a cluster of tents, and a few good people learning to call this place home. 🌾 What you'll do in this demo Work the ash-soil — till, plant, water, and harvest through the seasons. Every crop has its window. Range the valley — mine ore and stone in the cave, chop wood and forage in the forest, and fish the pond (each catch fights a little differently). Craft & furnish — turn what you gather into furniture and set it down in your very own cabin. Raise the settlement — deliver materials to build: first your cabin, then a harbor for the whole vale — and watch a new neighbor step off the next boat. Get to know the six — chat and give gifts to the founders; discover what each of them treasures and watch your friendships grow (your journal keeps track).
