Bloodclock
Bloodclock Warning! Low poly gore. Game plays better in downloadable build, but will run in web just fine. If you are experiencing issues with performance or audio, we recommend downloading it! The clock is your healthbar. Blood is the only refill. Created for GMTK Game Jam 2026. Gameplay Description Bloodclock is an arena survival shooter where the countdown timer IS your health. It drains constantly whether you fight or hide, getting hit costs you seconds, and the only way to buy back time is to kill something and run through the blood it leaves behind. There is no healing, no cover, no camping. Blood evaporates a few seconds after it spills, so every kill starts a footrace, and every enemy pulls you somewhere different. Rushers swarm you and pay out right here. Poppers keep their distance and make you cross the arena to collect. Spawners plug the lanes and burst like a fountain when they finally drop. The greedy part: your score multiplier climbs as your clock runs low. Playing it safe at full time is survivable and worthless. Riding the last few seconds is where the points are. Between waves you draw three upgrades and keep one, and none of them will ever let you slow down. How long can you keep the clock alive? Controls WASD to move Mouse to aim Left click to fire. Hold for a steady rhythm, click fast for a faster one R to reload. Shells feed one at a time, and firing cancels the feed and keeps what you loaded Shift to dash. Costs you 1 second off the clock Space to jump ESC or P to pause and open menu Development Info Bloodclock was created in just 4 days using Godot 4.7.
