Cold Signal

**Cold Signal** is a short point-and-click adventure in the style of the 1980s LucasArts games. Valdecuervo Space Tracking Station, in the mountains of central Spain. November 1984, 03:51. Mariela Ordás, the night operator, is alone on shift when the dish stops tracking its satellite and turns by itself to another part of the sky. A pulse starts coming in every 4.2 seconds. You have one night to find out what it is, whether it has happened before, and what to put in the report that goes to Madrid. - One night, six rooms, three endings (one of them hidden) - A nightwatchman who has been at the station since 1971 and doesn't like questions - Everything you tell Madrid has consequences - Original music and sound, all generated in the browser - Plays in English or Spanish **Controls:** pick a verb and click on something. Right-click does the obvious thing (talk to people, open doors, look at everything else). M mutes the sound.**A note from me** This is a small project and I don't have big plans for it. What I'd really like is your opinion, mostly about the story: did it work for you? Was anything confusing? Did any ending feel unfair? It's also unfinished on purpose. Félix knows more about that night in 1973 than he tells, and I haven't decided yet what he's hiding. If you have ideas about where the story could go next, I'd love to hear them. And if anyone would like to work on it with me (writing, art, music, translation, testing), say so in the comments. I'm open to making the next part together. All feedback is welcome, including the critical kind. Thanks for playing.— José
