Slender: The Board Game

A project done for CMPM 176 at UCSC. This is a board game adaptation of the popular indie game Slender: The Eight Pages. In this version, two players fight against each other in a battle of the Slenderman versus the Searcher. The Searcher must traverse the dark map and flip over tiles in a desperate search for the eight pages. With a limited flashlight, and only a static meter to indicate the Slenderman's presence, they must be sparing and strategic. All the while, the Slenderman must chase, teleport, and capture them before all the pages are collected. Utilizing a design of two separate game boards, the Slenderman will always know where the searcher is, while keeping his own movements hidden.
