Ready Set Summon

Ready, Set, Summon is a single-player, first-person, action spell casting game where players assume the role of Rayna, an exiled necromancer whose set forth on a self-discovering journey as she fights her way through a small army of lunging long-legged beasts, to get to the source of their realm known as the Evernight in order to stop their escape into Rayna’s world. Beginning development in May of 2020 Ready Set Summon was our final project for our game design program at Vancouver Film School class of GD57. Like many student projects we had our share of challenges, including but not limited to everyone working remotely and even in different time zones. Over the course of development roles shifted, priorities changed, and the scope and scale was modified, despite this we all have a game we're proud to show off and say we made.
