About This game was developed as our semester project for a LGBTIQ+ themed seminar called "Pixel Rainbows", at the University of Applied Sciences Europe - Campus Hamburg.Four Game Design Students teamed up to work on a game for teenagers to educate them about homosexuality. While also highlighting certain fears and concerns that might rise when discovering these new and strange feelings, we ultimatley want to tell a cute little story about how noone has to hide their true self and how being gay is as normal as anything. Game Description Butterflies is an interacive visual novel about ones first love and newly discovered homosexuality. The Main Character is afraid of admitting his true feelings and tries to hide them throughout the story. Join the protagonist through his everyday school life where he experiences an emotional rollercoaster caused by all these new emotions.
