double posting this gamearooni into both the bitsy essay jam and the bitsy classic jam. i made this in bitsy classic then ported it into bitsy 7.2 because bitsy classic has weird issues! this was very much a stream of consciousness kinda thing. [a character gazing at a distant star] has been a symbol that's been with me for a long time, but it's usually a cyclops staring out, not a bitsy cat. the dialogue text is one part riffing on a neato star fact, and one part longing for the death of the united states. in retrospect i think i was discharging a 2020 loneliness/ennui kinda vibe, and then trying to nail it down once i caught on to what i was doing. i hope you enjoyed this lil gamedoodle :- )
