Hollerith 1890 - HUN

HUN: A Kutatók Éjszakáján, Hollerith hívja Kőrösyt című előadásomon bemutatott HTML-játék Herman Hollerith tabulátoráról.Az előadásom végén, a komoly kutatás bemutatása után megengedtem magamnak egy kis „komolytalankodást” is: ezt a játékot egy képzeletbeli Hollerith-tabulátor ihlette, amely a kerettörténet szerint a KSH Könyvtár pincéjéből került elő. Sajnos ilyen felfedezés nem történt. Még. :) A játék nem pontos történeti rekonstrukció, és a hozzá készített történeti lyukkártyák minden egyes adatát sem ellenőriztem szoros forráskritikával; a vibe coding során ugyanakkor igyekeztem hiteles, elsősorban KSH- és számítástechnika-történeti forrásokra támaszkodni. At the end of my talk, after presenting the serious research behind it, I allowed myself a little historical playfulness: this game imagines a Hollerith tabulator supposedly rediscovered in the basement of the KSH Library. Sadly, no such discovery has taken place. Yet. :) The game is not intended as an exact historical reconstruction, and I have not rigorously verified every individual detail encoded on the historical punch cards; nevertheless, during the vibe-coding process I tried to rely on trustworthy sources, especially materials from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office and established computing-history collections.
