Potluck!

Potluck! is a short 2D narrative game about personal stories connected to food. Through small, intimate moments and memories, I explore how certain dishes can create connections between people and act as a thread back to a sense of home. Inspired by my own experiences, Potluck! reflects on the emotional relationship between food, culture, and family. Potluck! is the first standalone chapter in a series of narrative games, with each chapter focusing on one personal story, one dish, and the memories, emotions, and relationships connected to it. This first chapter follows my own story of making dolma with my mother. Through conversation, memory, and the small moments shared while preparing the dish, I explore the connection between food, culture, family, and home. The game is now finished.
