WARNING, I HAVE MADE A RATHER LARGE OOPSIE, AND HAVE FORGOTTEN TO UPLOAD THE .pck FILE. THIS MEANS THE GAME WILL BE UNPLAYABLE UNTIL I CAN UPLOAD A FUNCTIONAL FILE AFTER THE JAM IS OVER. For this reason, I would discourage downloading the game as it will not work in its current state. If, despite all odds, this seems like an interesting game to you, then you can follow it or something to see when I finally fix it.You awaken in a laboratory, and find yourself product of a cloning experiment gone wrong! While you were meant to come out yellow, just like your creators, you are instead a vivid purple, and apparently this means they have to kill you. Fight your way out, grabbing weapons off of killed enemies, because who has time to reload anyways? (Your enemies do, btw). Controls: WASD - moveMouse - look/aimR - throw weapon if held, otherwise pick up item on ground1 - melee weapon2 - ranged weapon Made for the 2024 Acerola Game Jam. This is my first ever game jam submission! I was pinched on time at the end, so the game in its current state is not particularly polished, but I'm nevertheless proud of a few things I've managed to accomplish. This is the most progress I've ever made in any game, jam or otherwise, and I learned a great deal from it.
