Memoria
About the Game Memoria is a Narrative based 2D side scroller game where you must resolve false memories in order to calm your mind and reveal the truth of your past. When making Memoria, our team looked within each of ourselves and our personal pasts, inspired by other narrative-driven games such as Florence and Night in the Woods. Our game is rooted in our common ground of immigrant guilt, growing with inter-generational trauma, preserving culture, and most importantly, forgiving our pasts. You can learn more about our game and a bit about our process here! Controls Keyboard and Mouse A - Move left D - Move right E- Interact and collect memory pieces Spacebar - Continue dialogue Point and Click/Drag objects on the screen to find memory pieces Game Controller Press A to interact with objects and to continue dialogue Hold in right or left direction to make Isaac walk Credits This game would not have been made possible without the support of Gameheads and the Board for giving our team the opportunity to tell our stories and push us forward. Thank you to Jose Martinez for overseeing this project. And a special thank you to our industry mentors who supported our team and provided incredible feedback throughout each week: Juan Vaca, Ian Ramsay, Max Liu, Michael Christensen-Calvin, Evan Grissom, Kenneth Strickland, Sam Knudson, and Ashley Gobold.
