The Curious Case of the Missing Nurses is a horror game where you play as Layla Walsh, a young nurse facing the longest shift of her life. Trapped in a grotesquely warped version of the hospital where she once worked, she discovers that death has become a rare commodity. Will she survive the night, or will she join the many nurses vanishing in the mysterious town of Brookvale? Guide Layla through the unrelenting Undertow as she desperately tries to escape by uncovering as many bad endings as possible. Your choices shape the story, determining how certain scenes unfold and which of the 7 endings her journey concludes with. Will she escape with her best friends, Ada Hong, Tiana, and Nurse Neubauer, or become the plaything of the ghastly Doctor Ebert? Features: - 40+ CG's featuring various damsels in "damsely" situations. - Your decisions in the Undertow shape not only the range of possible game overs but also how key scenes unfold. Choose to lie down and let the currents of the Undertow pull you along? That's a valid choice, and you won't be punished for it. Prefer to fight tooth and nail to survive? Equally valid. Layla's dialogue will shift based on how you interact in specific scenes. - Escape puzzles in order to get free from the baddies. - Boss fights varying from grotesque monsters to fellow damsels. - Different scenes depending on successfully defeating/losing to bosses or failing certain puzzles. Not only do these decisions have instant ramifications but Layla will also be seen differently by her peers after she leaves The Undertow. Warning: Contains flashing lights. Almost all the scenes implemented into the game so far have extended versions (35 at the time of me writing this) that go a little further into the peppery side of things.
