Escape from Labs

Controls: Space bar / Left click to propulse yourself up. An experiment went wrong, and here you are. Locked in what seems to be an infinite maze of a laboratory, with all sorts of hazards coming your way, you weren't supposed to survive, but there you are. Those behind this project definitely want to make you disappear. Luckily for you, what they did gave you some powers. You're able to create pure energy from your mouth with your voice, it sure will be handy trying to get through the missiles, drones and laser barrier along your way to freedom. This is the second game I made for the 20 Games challenge, a Jetpack Joyride clone. As for the first one, I decided to make everything by hand, using Asesprite for the assets and Bosca ceoil for the music, with a sfx synth to generate and modulate all the sound effects. It definitely took way more time as I wanted to get my hands on sprite sheet and animation, which was way more time-consuming than I expected at first.
