I’ve Been Holding My Breath Since 2008
There’s a reason I never unpacked my suitcase. "They call it 'getting back on my feet.' In reality, I'm just rotting in the guest room of my own childhood." After moving back to your parents' house, you find a box labeled 2008. Inside is a relic you thought was dead: an old Slider Phone. Surprisingly, it flickers to life, revealing a digital graveyard of who you used to be at eleven — an outsider, an artist, and a girl who was terrified of being seen. I’ve Been Holding My Breath Since 2008 is a narrative puzzle game about digital archeology and the cowardice of youth. Explore old messages, listen to the tracks of your past, and solve the puzzles your younger self left behind to unlock a letter you weren't ready to read until now. Will you keep the past sealed away? Or are you finally brave enough to take that first breath?
