About the GameBad luck is following Jamie Laece. A day at the carnival with her friend Andy went sour after the villainous True Path attacked and she can't get out of her head the strange things she keeps seeing. She'll have to find her strength someplace she never expected to save her friends, and herself. Tales of Strings: Only Shadows for Comfort is a visual novel prototype created in RPGMaker by Sigrid Vjeol and written by SaltyJustice, with music from DurrDiss. You can also use the comment section below if you prefer that. Chapter 1 is a simple visual-novel. It has no choices. The challenge is to withstand Igor's silly dialogue. Chapter 6 is a point-and-click adventure where you must find items and solve puzzles to advance. A game guide was provided by Klaysee in case you get stuck. The story takes place in the Knights of Justice universe, though you don't need to have read any of those stories to enjoy this one. Game ContentsThis game is a work of transformation-oriented fiction. The prototype contains a bit of wolf transformation hinting at what will be in the final version. It also contains some flashing images and a jumpscare which can be disabled with an in-game option. The game takes about half an hour to complete in its current state. Both 7zip and zip versions are provided. Currently the game is built for Windows only. As the game runs on RPGMaker, OSX/Linux versions will be made available if there is sufficient demand for them. Pricing NoteThe prototype is being released for free. If you do decide to donate, 90% of the proceeds go to Sigrid. This will likely remain the same for the final release if the game is greenlit.
