Core Gameplay Wildroots: Grove of the Last Guardian is a 2.5D Tower Defense game where you gather resources, build defenses, and protect the Heart of the Grove from endless waves of corrupted creatures. Gather resources from the environment Build structures and defenses around the Heart Fight enemies in real-time combat Survive increasingly intense enemy waves Choose your playstyle between Warrior, Hunter, or Mage, each offering a different approach to combat and survival. Visual Style A stylized 2.5D world where simple, iconic characters face animated 3D creatures, creating a clear and readable visual language focused on gameplay and atmosphere. Mobile-First Design This project is designed primarily with mobile devices in mind. Most of the development and testing so far has been focused on mobile gameplay, controls, and performance. While the game is also playable on PC, some aspects may continue to be refined based on mobile-first design choices. PC Controls: Standard WASD + Mouse interaction. About the Developer Wildroots: Grove of the Last Guardian is my first published project as an indie hobby developer. The goal of this release is to learn, grow, and improve through real player feedback while building a game driven by passion, experimentation, and persistence. Transparency note: AI has been used as a creative and learning aid during development, while all gameplay design, implementation decisions, and final integration are the result of hands-on work.
