Aquatic Postal Service
Created by Fish Bone Studios, Aquatic Postal Service is a 2D side-scrolling underwater platformer where the player takes on the role of Finn Fishman, a postal worker delivering packages to resident across the ocean. The core experience focuses on careful traversal, planning ahead, and immersion in an underwater world. The player's main goal is to transport packages safely to their destination/resident while navigating The Reef: a vibrant, colorful, coral, social area with a lot of friendly drama and competition, and The Deep: a vast, shadowy, distant, heavy, mysterious, and lonely area with faint bioluminescent glows. Because Finn has limited vertical mobility, players must use positioning, Finn's launch mechanic, and environmental awareness to reach higher areas and avoid damaging packages. Based on the Quantic Foundry charts, Aquatic Postal Service includes Immersion and Challenge. Immersion: playing as Finn Fishman delivering packages under the sea where aquatic life relies on postal service. Interact with NPCs. Challenge: Limited in vertical movement, launch to higher areas and traverse environment to safely deliver packages. Due to the fun, cartoon nature and aesthetic of the game, Aquatic Delivery Service target audience is from teen-to-adult, rated E for everyone. The idea for this game originated from two random verbs: knock and portage. Knock: Doors and debris Portage: Deliver packages [ RECOMMENDED TO PLAY DOWNLOADABLE BUILD ]
