NAHL- NATIONAL AIR HOCKEY LEAGUE
A high-speed, physics-heavy air hockey simulator. Play a full 20-game season, fight through the playoffs, and clear the snow off the ice with the Zamboni mini-game. Description: Most browser-based sports games are just basic clickers you play for three minutes and forget about. We wanted to build something with actual depth and maximum juice. NAHL: National Air Hockey League is a fully-featured sports simulation packed into a single, lightning-fast HTML5 game. You draft a franchise, play through a grueling 20-game schedule, and fight for a spot in the top 8 to make a run at the Championship trophy. But this isn't just a standard arcade game where the puck bounces off static walls. The ice in the NAHL is a living physics object. As the match goes on, heavy rallies will carve up the rink, leaving permanent scratches and physical snow build-up. That snow creates a live friction map—if you hit a snowy patch, your puck is going to slow down. When a period ends, you don't just stare at a menu. You get 40 seconds to drive the Zamboni and manually clear the friction map to restore the ice for the next period. The Features: Full Season Mode: 10 custom franchises (including the Ottawa Outlaws playing out of the Hintonburg Arena). Track your schedule, league standings, and playoff bracket. Dynamic Ice Degradation: Pucks and mallets carve up the ice, creating snow buildup that physically alters the puck's speed and handling. Zamboni Mini-Game: Take control of the Zamboni between periods to erase the snow and prep the ice before the puck drops. Broadcast Presentation: Cinematic matchup intros, live scoreboards, and a continuous 3-period scoring system (first to 15 goals wins!). Heavy Audio & VFX: Synthesized double-horn blasts for goals, deep engine rumbles for the Zamboni, heavy collision sparks, and screen-flashing goal celebrations. Persistent Saves: Save your Season Mode progress locally in your browser and pick up your playoff run exactly where you left off.
