Retro Adventure Forge

Retro Adventure Forge is a web-based platform for playing and creating branching text adventures. My brother and I built this as a passion project because we wanted to capture the specific atmosphere of 90s gaming—pixel art, retro soundscapes, and stories where your choices actually have consequences. The site is currently in public beta. You can jump in and play our two free demo stories right now without even needing to create an account. For Creators: If you have a story to tell, the Forge is a no-code toolkit that lets you build your own adventures. I wanted to make sure writers could focus on their narrative and world-building without having to worry about the technical side of game development. It is free to use right now, and while I might add premium features for authors down the road, the core focus will always be on accessible storytelling. Privacy and Feedback: We are also very focused on privacy. I have worked hard to make our policy as strong and transparent as possible. Since we are in beta, I would really value any feedback you have on the engine, the site layout, or our privacy approach.
