Becky is a Gatherer. Her job is to obtain heartgems, formed at a person's death, to resell them. She doesn't like it. You could even say she hates it. But those heartgems... they're so beautiful. They make everything worth it. That's what she lives for. She doesn't need anyone else. She doesn't want anyone else. And yet, somebody comes. How will Becky react, when somebody will want to intrude on her lonely and painful life?This is a story about broken people. About warped love. And about people who have no words to name that love.TW: Nothing particularly graphic, but themes might not be suited for everybody. There's talk about mutilation, other types of violence (such as allusion to sexual violence) and implications of suicide. This is a story about mentally unwell people.
